He can also be viewed as a traitor who tried to foul up an assassination attempt by the U.S goverment. <br /><br />American oil executives are a group of men who help feed the U.S. consumer's growing thirst for oil. They are also corrupt, immoral vultures who prey upon anybody that hurts their bottom line.<br /><br />Prince Nasir is a thorn in the side of U.S oil interests. The heir apparent is also a well educated, progressive intellectual who will do everything in his power to bring social and economic reform to his country.<br /><br />Bryan Woodman (Matt Damon) profits from the death of his son, while helping Nasir realize his dream.<br /><br />The U.S goverment is, well, the U.S. goverment, and probably the only "character" that can be seen as pure evil.<br /><br />It's been said that great movies leave you thinking after the closing credits.
